All participants (athletes, coaches, volunteers, and spectators) are expected to:

5. Maintain a Safe Environment – Ensure the physical and emotional safety of all participants by following proper procedures and addressing any concerns promptly.

• Anti-Bullying Policy: Toronto Hoopstars has a zero-tolerance policy for any form of bullying or harassment. We are dedicated to ensuring all athletes feel safe, supported, and valued.
• Inclusion and Accessibility: We are committed to providing equal opportunities for athletes of all abilities, backgrounds, and identities. We aim to remove any barriers to participation and create an inclusive environment where all feel welcome.

The health and safety of our participants is our top priority. We ensure:

• Emergency Procedures: Emergency preparedness plans in place to help our athletes in case of emergency
• Proper Equipment: All athletes are provided with safe, high-quality equipment that meets safety standards.
• Physical and Mental Well-Being: We promote both physical fitness and mental health, encouraging athletes to prioritize their well-being.

Parents play a crucial role in supporting our mission. We ask that all parents:

• Support coaches, staff, and kids in creating a positive environment.
• Encourage their children to follow the club’s values and be good sports.
• Respect all club policies and contribute to a supportive atmosphere for everyone involved.

Any individual found to be in violation of the club's policies or code of conduct may face disciplinary actions, including suspension or removal from the program. This includes, but is not limited to, violations of our anti-bullying, anti-harassment, or safety policies.
